Mindology Fitness Kids (MFK) for ages 3- 12 is a fun, effective and accessible whole-body fitness program created especially for kids. MFK’s program integrates a sprinkling of original mind healing empowering techniques with a hefty dose of science-based techniques designed to ensure optimal mental health and well-being.
During the first fifteen-minutes of the body workout, the kids learn how to activate both hemispheres of their brain, they stimulate their optic nerve, rid their bodies of excess cortisol and secrete toxins from their vital organs.
The second part of class focuses on the mind. During this section, kids engage in specific activities that are designed to help them regulate unwanted emotions, clear their mind of unwanted chatter and organically ignite their feel-good hormones.
The third part of the class is designed to connect kids to their intuition (inner self) by utilizing “heart focused breathing” by the Institute of HeartMath™. The purpose of this connection is to inspire kids to trust their heart’s intelligence for answers to personal concerns. This section also teaches kids how to use their imagination to visualize positive realities they wish to experience in their daily lives.
